I love Staples!
I went today and got my 25 notebooks at 25 cents each! I think many times my students do not come in with the needed supplies. I think I am going to get 25 more!

which notebooks? i was there today and the marbles were 25 cents each. but i did get the copy paper for $1 this week and last week. i go through it like crazy at work and they wont really supply it to us. so i was excited

basically he doesnt want to overwhelm parents and have them spending so much money... so what we can?
iast yr we asked for them to send in copy paper, a few sent in reams and others just sent in a stack... so it isnt like we were telling them they HAD to get a ream of paper. those who didnt bring it in, we just let it go. we were just thankful to get some.

thats crazy- overwhelm the parents! ...many of these kids come in with sneakers that match EVERYTHING they own and sidekicks (I am in a MS) that are 20-30 extra a month - the parents can get them supplies to help the classroom

Just wanted to add to this thread that I didn't realize it till today, but I love Staples too! 
I went to Office Max and the deals just DID NOT even compare!!!!!!!!!!
