Has anyone gone to see a high risk ob in the 1st trimester?

Has anyone gone to see a high risk ob in the 1st trimester even though your OB said you not really high risk? I am concerned b/c its twins and i'm rather small only 5 ft tall and I did IVF. My RE would tell me i'm high risk and he didnt recommed BD and said i should restrict my activity since it's twins. Bu my OB is completely different saying sex if fine and so on. What would you do? I like my OB but i dont wanna take any chance on my very expensive very long awaited babies lol and I have an apt with DR. Victor Klein on thursday.
I you were me would you keep it or cancel it ?

I would keep it. Better to be safe.

Well I was high risk because I had triplets and loved the group I used. Being you are having twins and did IVF I would go see a high risk Dr. but thats just my opinion. Good luck to you.

I see Dr. Klein. If your insurance covers it then why not? It's worth it to get another opinion. I liked how he treats twin pregnancies. My original OB was actually more conservative than Dr. Klein.

I started seeing a High risk Dr. at 14 weeks. But that was b/c I do have a history of many issues leading to being High risk.

In your case though I would keep the appointment. The worse that happens is they tell you that you dont need to see them, but like your saying, better safe then sorry right? For peace of mind etc...sure I would go.
