Actually I called them, and was told that they dont add team members based on people calling in, its all by word of mouth and if someone gets you in...
didnt make sense to me and sounded quite rude actually Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Mens softball leagues in Suffolk ?

I've been playing a league for 6 years:

ABA Sports Softball

They have leagues for mens, coed, weeknight, Sundays etc. I guess he would be interested in the western suffolk league. The Eastern Suffolk League isn't really eastern suffolk (most of the games played in 'eastern suffolk' are around the Patchogue area. There are different levels of play also (D-beginner, C-intermediate, and AB-highly competitve. The summer league satrts this week, so I don't think he could register a team, but if he posts a free agent profile, someone might contact him. I got involved by just posting as a 'free agent', but only one person contacted me (which is just fine. I've been playing for the same team for 6 years and we've won 4 championships).

I made sure to go and "know someone" at the field the other day, and shyness is NOT a problem of mine...Chat Icon

he practiced with them, lets just say, I wont toot his horn, but the kid can play ball Chat Icon ... he hadnt played in a while, hadnt even stretched, barely had half hour notice, and looked awesome out there Chat Icon

gotta go after watcha want Chat Icon

and he would have NEVER done this himself.. we are eachother's opposite, and so essential to eacother.. he quiets me down and I open his trap for him Chat Icon
