HAD TO SHARE! MY BRAND NEW NYC CLASSROOM (PICS)
so after 2 yrs of construction to add an entire wing to our school, it is done (well they are still doing some final details) but we are in. Ive spent mon-thurs there from 830-4 at least unpacking 40 boxes from our old room and sorting through and setting up the room for the new yr.
I cant believe all the beautiful furntiture we got. I never thought i'd ever get a room never used before and with all NEW stuff! I am beyond excited!!!! 
I do have to say that we all wished they would have consulted some teachers in the planning of these rooms because there are just so many things they should have done differently (like the fact we only have 1 good bulletin board and it is small - the other is behind the computers so it is going to be hard to see stuff) But we cant really complain because it is very nice overall

I have to say I'm jealous....I'm in a "classroom" (meaning storage closet) about the size of your carpet area!

You did such a great job in setting it up!
I would have KILLED for those tables when I was teaching Kindergarten. We had tables too, which I loved, but there was no space underneath for storage. Best idea ever!!

Awesome classroom!..Makes my very glad though that I teach high school. I would never be able to handle setting up a classroom like that every year.

OMG i know i was so ecxcited to see the cubbies under the tables! i was so sick of youing bins around the room and having monitors pass out books

 your room is very similar to mine! I have that easel (but someone took our bins  ) I <3 Fundations and your Math Word Wall brings me back to my city memories LOL Enjoy!!
