My DH is praying DJ holds off on that hit until Saturday when he goes. Actually, he's hoping for a rainout on Friday.
I could very well go with him...but I'd have to take the baby. Not sure if we're ready for that yet! I'm soooooo tempted just to be there for it...

Home now they lost but they were winning when jeter got the hit, and let me tell you i will always remember that night...im saving my stub! We happen to have fri nite season tix and got to see this game after a long rain delay!!!!
The noise level was so loud it was incredible

It was exciting seeing it on TV, can't imagine how it felt to be there!

That had to be phenomenal! You are so lucky!
I was there for his 2,000 hit....and his first and only grand slam. Hardly compares but they were still cool moments!

DH was so cute. He put our 10 week old DD in her Derek Jeter newborn sized t-shirt and had her "watch" the game with him!  it was too cute.
way to go Derek!

awww where'd he get that t-shirt? I'm so glad my DD is finally fitting into her 3 month clothes- I have about 5 Yankee onesies!
