If the twins are born around 5lbs....
Will they fit into newborn clothes or should I have some preemie ones too?

I would skip the preemie clothes, they will outgrow it so fast.

Preemie clothing fit my boys bodies well but were too short in length. They ended up wearing newborn for a few months. Then all of a sudden they outgrew the newborn and began skipping some sizes. they are so big now!!

My twins were 4.4 lbs and 4.11 when they came home and one is 5.1 lbs right now and are still in Preemie clothes and the newborn stuff is still HUGE on them...they are 11 days old....so I bought a weeks worth of preemie clothes and we are just using them consistently...

My twins were too tall for the preemie clothes. I think they only go to 18 inches.

My twins were 5.1lb and 4.15lb and 18.5 inches. The newborn clothes were HUGE on them. They wore preemie clothes for about 3 weeks and then they got too short. They NB clothes were still big on them at that point, but I had to put them they in b/c of the length. They wore newborn until were around 3 months old.

My twins were 5lbs and 4 15, they wore the preemie clothes maybe once and then they outgrew them.

My boys were 5 lbs 1 oz and 6lbs. I had to run out an get premie clothes...they fit into nothing. They wore premie clothes the first three weeks. I then donated them to a friend how had a premie a couple months after I did.

BRU has a small rack at each store...Also Baby Depot at Burlington has some.

I would wait until they are born and then someone can run to the store and get some. My twins were 7 pounds and 20.5 inches at birth.

Carters has preemie clothes. I think we got most of them at BRU though.
