Need some prayers for my FIL-with sort of update
My father in law has overcome prostrate cancer, and is battling stage 4 stomach/back cancer right now. He has been been stable for a year now and was told he had a long life to live.
This past week, he has been in the hospital with not being able to see out of one of his eyes. They told my MIL that he had a blod clot behind his eye and they were treating him for that and were starting him on some more chemo.
I just got a call from my MIL that the doctors just called her and she is hysterical. They have just told her that he has a brain tumor that they are going to try to treat with radiation. If that does not work, they give him 3 months. They have not even told him yet-or at least that is what she says.
Please, any prayers or good thoughts you have, please send them our way.
Update 10/16:
DH went to the hospital last night with MIL and he is totally confused on what is going on. They said it is not a tumor, but now cancer in his skull. They said his skull is basically expanding and putting pressure on his brain. He still needs treatment, but they can't narrow down what exactly is wrong. He was supposed to go home early today, but it has been pushed back till tonight for more testing. So one doctor says a tumor, the next says brain cancer. I wish they would get together and discuss, they are driving us nuts.

All the prayers in the world for your FIL. He sounds like a very strong man and I hope the chemo/radiation works
