Excellent Meeting with District
We just had our transition meeting today for Sophia to leave EI and join the district. I have to say it was a great meeting. The district chair (Longwood) was so nice and listened to everything I had to say and I got everything I wanted.
We'll keep her SIET for 9 hours of preschool a week, one hour at home with one of the SIETs (her former ABA therapists) for self help issues, 2 hours of OT and 2 hours of speech, with both the OT and speech working on sensory issues.
I have to say I am so happy and so glad Sophia will get these extra services to help her.

Yes, the chair for Longwood is GREAT. We also had a great meeting as well.
