People at work can be such troublemakers

I told one of my co-workers who I thought I could trust that I was upset about not being promoted. They have been promising me since January and telling me the paper work is in. One of the coworkers got promoted to a AVP level and she was an Admin last year and I said I cant believe that. Well my co worker went back to the girl and told her I was jealous of her promotion.

That stinks. I know the feeling- I really don't trust anyone at my job with potentially big things, and it bugs me not to have someone here to confide in.

when i approached her she turned it around and said she was friends with the girl and not to talk about her and she wont talk about me and started getting loud in the hall so others could here. Some people have issues, the sad part is shes in my group and i have to work with her. Shes probably at the girls desk talking sh*t about me anyway.

Well try not to worry too much about it. People are going to talk about you no matter what, that's my experince anyway. Now you know better than to trust anyone at work.

It's a $ucky lesson to learn... and we have all been there.

But now you know never to trust ANYONE at work no matter how "close" you may be.

there are only 3 people at work that know about me being preggo and they are not in my group they are from different groups but we all sit in cubes next to each other and they havent said anything. They are like family. I wouldnt tell anyone in my group expecially since I have a promotion thats suppose to be coming since january .
