You have to understand.... this is Hernandez's style. He will SAY what he WANTS to say.
Granted... the woman thing was just so outrageous even I was surprised.
And then a few innings later when they put the camera back on her.... he starts off with "You know earlier I said some pretty strong things... "
Here I was thinking he is about to apologize.... but then he comes out says "And you know.... I STAND BY WHAT I SAID".
This is CLASSIC Hernandez. I guarantee you SNY is loving this.
Any Met fan will know... that Hernandez in the booth is WAY better than Fran "Come to Shea to see Reyes run" Healy. UGH

Also... that particular game Hernandez was in RARE FORM.
When talking about the 86 16 inning game 6 in Houston... Hernandez went to Cohen and said "you know that game was so nerve racking.... I haven't touched a cigarette in over 10 years.... but during that game I smoked about two and a half packs".
It was in between plays and they actually had the camera on them when he said it. Cohen looks over to him and says "Are you serious?". LOL
Cohen didn't know what to respond to that. Cohen just had this blank look in his face like "oh shyt i can't believe he just said that".

He is sooooooooooo annoying as an announcer! Can't stand to listen to him talk. How about how he always says the word "tardy" instead of late. "oh he was a little tardy in getting the guy out at second"...errrrrrrrr! annoying!
Keith Hernandez and Michael Kay are two of the most annoying sports announcers out there.
