for those who had HSG
I have an appointment tomorrow and was wondering if you could tell me what can I expect. They told me to take 3 advil an hour before my appt. Will I feel okay later in the evening? I have plans to meet friends but am wondering if I should cancel them.

Personally I was absolutely fine afterwards. I also took 2 advil after just in case. I didn't feel a thing a half hour after the procedure. Hopefully it will be the same for you!

I went to work that afternoon.
A little crampy and uncomfortable, but nothing unbearable.

I worked from home, I had no pain and I was blocked, but the iodine colored fluid was ucky and I'm glad I was home to take a shower

You should be fine. Make sure you take your pad. I took 4 advil. Yes, I O'd on it. Only because I waited so long in the waiting room that I was afraid it wore off.
As for the procedure, I did experience cramping but it will only last a few seconds. You will be alright.
