I got my winter wishes letter
I'm so excited I got a 9 year old girl this year who asked for a doll and even drew a picture in her letter. So cute. Last year I got a 5 year old boy who wanted Thomas the train toys. Shopping for a girl is much more fun for me.
Anyone else get their letter yet? What did they ask for?

It's not too late, you have until November 25th to register.

One boy asked for wrestling toys. The other asked for a remote control car, Spiderman toys, and then he asked for a big remote control car. So cute!

Re: I got my winter wishes letter
I got an 11 year old boy asking for PSP game. The letter wasn't even written by him. Not fun at all!
Last year I got an adorable full page letter from a little girl asking for Bratz dolls.

Re: I got my winter wishes letter
I got my two letters last week - 3 yr old girl and a 3 yr old boy. The letters were super cute! I'm hoping to purchase everything this week and send it on its way.

Re: I got my winter wishes letter
I adopted a child through WBLI and it's heartbreaking. Their kids come from a local homeless shelter. I got a 6 month old boy and all that was requested was clothes.

Re: I got my winter wishes letter
This year I got form letters again. Sort of disappointing, I wish they drew pictures on them and such that is so much more fun. Both were from the same Salvation Army center in the Bronx so I wonder if they just hand out form letters for the kids to fill in all the info.
One was a 12 year old girl asking for an ipod or a digital camera, and the other was a mother asking for leapfrog games for her 3 year old son and she traced the boy's hand on the paper.

Re: I got my winter wishes letter
i just adopted a local family through my middle school, its the best feeling, isnt it? I couldnt imagine, now that I have a son, him waking up on christmas morning and having NO gifts, that would break my heart as a mother. Im more than happy to help them out.
I got a 6th grade girl and a 9th grade boy, with the most MODEST lists, that I bought them extra stuff.
