I used to go to Dr. Sekular in Merrick. (Corner of Merrick Ave & Camp Ave). I'm a big chicken about going to the dentist but I always felt comfortable in that office.
(If we hadn't moved I'd still go there)

Dr. Laura Hayes in Bellmore. She has a couple of other women dentists in her practice. My family (whole family- aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, brothers) have gone to her since she started out in the early 80s. All the dentists who work for her are very good.
ETA- I now live 75 miles away but still go to her.

Love his staff and I can't say enough about him.

Another Dr. Berkenfeld patient here- I recommend him highly- Whoever I send to him is very happy. I was dental phobic and I am no longer ... I had 2 root canals and was falling asleep I was so relaxed during the procedure. I highly recommend his practice!

The name of the place escapes me, but the dentist in the Marshalls shopping center on Front street (by Pathmark) is great. And fast!
eta: Came home to a postcard from them. It's called Front Street Dental.
