Guess what can cause your birth control to be "incognito"?
Went for my first appt at the gyno (thanks to the unexpected pregnancy while on the pill)
And the doctor asked me what I had been taking.
I tol dhim, sudafed, and nyquil
Well, low and behold, his wife got pregnant, while on the pill, because she was taking sudafed. He said there should be a warning because there have been alot of women on YAZ who have gotten preggo b/c of this...
So ladies, be careful!

We're really excited, espesially since I've had major issues with cysts in the past, it's kind of a miracle!
Just, can't believe the doctors own wife got pregnant that way!!!!!

i knew about antibiotics, but not your everyday cold medications!! i've definitely taken nyquil before!!

Thank you for posting this! I told all of my cousins and reminded them to be extra careful WHENEVER they're taking something else in addition to their birth control.

Many sinus medications affect BC. Whenever I get a prescription, my doc tells me to use back up. I just always assumed this was the same for sudafed. But yes, they should put a warning on these OTC meds!

Absolutely! A friend of mine is pregnant too off of BC who was taking nyquil!!
Ive tried to read up on it and its like, a blocker somehow

I went off my pill completely and can't even ovulate!  I should go back on my pill and take some sudafed
