One more Sono to go

Spoke to Dr. Singer yesterday; she said let's do one more sono Monday. If no change, I am having a d&c wednesday, because it's been 2 weeks of this and she doesn't want me to keep walking around this way. Though, after we got off the phone yesterday, I actually felt the spotting get heavier. So we'll see. My sono from this past Monday showed slight growth with the sac, still no fetal pole or anything, but she said the sac is growing b/c the hormone is still present. She just said for peace of mind, let's do another one. At this point, I'm ready for it to be over, so although I didn't want the d&c, if I have to have it, maybe it's best. She also said she would test the tissue, which does make me curious.

I know exactly how you feel. I went through the same thing when looking at the sono...and I know the feeling of just wanting it to be over with too...i'm so sorry

i hope that it's good news for you, but if not at least you will know there is an end point in sight so you can heal and move forward.
They will offer the genetic testing on the tissue to see if they can give you any indication on what happened. But keep in mind that many times the test is inconclusive (like both times for me).

I'm sorry you're still in limbo At least your doctor was able to give you some kind of timeline, so hopefully it won't go on too much longer

Lana I'm so sorry you are going through this. Dr. Singer used to be my dr, she is so wonderful. I hope everything works out well
