"Holiday" things/shows?
Are you doing anything holiday-ey this year?
We're taking the two older kids (niece and nephew) to Alice in Winterland at the Patchogue Theatre and Mitch and I are going to the "Holiday Extrazaganza" at the Airport Playhoue (we had a GC we had to use, LOL). We're also taking the little ones (also a niece and nephew) to see the Big Duck once he's all lit up.
And we'll do our annual city trip as well. I'm really hoping for a carriage ride this year....
Anything else going on that you're doing that you'd like to share? I love doing holiday things!

We go ice skating in Central Park- that's our annual birthday/Christmas tradition.

I did the lights at Jones Beach one year - that was nice & an easy thing to do.

We just took the niece and nephew to see disney on ice. We will be
going to the tree, dinner,etc in NYC.

I realy want to do a lot of holiday fun stuff this year, because last year was a rough year and we weren't able to at all. I love this time of year. I like just going for walks around the neighborhood and looking at the lights, we'll definitely go to the city to see the tree & do some shopping, I have to think of some other things to do as well.

We usually try to do dinner in the city near the ice rink. Walk around see the decorations etc..

usually me, my mom, my sister and niece all go into the city, see a show, the tree and go out to eat. didn't work out this year though but instead the 4 of us, plus dh are going to see a christmas carol at theatre three in port jeff and i'm sure will do dinner together after.
i like doing the jones beach lights with dh too. we bring the pups in the car with us

This will be the first year my niece and nephew will be celebrating Christmas in NY, so we're planning on going to the christmas show along with all the NYC holiday sightseeing. We're also planning to cut our own tree with them which should be a lot of fun!

I did the Christmas Show w/my Goddaughter last year so I don't want to sit through it again this year.
This weekend my mother and I may go to a big craft fair in PA.

I saw Wintuk 2 years ago & we LOVED it!!! Have a great time!
I think that we may go and have our picture taken with Santa Claus & hopefully get to Planting Fields.
