So proud of my niece
She was a very shy girl for so long, sometimes painfully so. She is now 12 and in the last year she has really busted out of her shell, even entered a pagent  !!
So last night was her school band concert and she had a SOLO...My sister, Mom, Dad and I all held our breath as she stood to do it and it was perfect!! She hit it spot on from the first note. We were all glowing with pride and people that know her from back in the day were telling us how amazing she did and what a different girl she is!! That's my "baby girl" and I  her to pieces!!

That's amazing!! It's wonderful she's overcome her shyness and really shined in her performance last night!!

So great to hear!!! I was so shy for years...wish i could go back with the confidence i have now...love hearing about girls getting over shyness!!!
