I think I may have gotten someone in trouble...
at work.
A co-worker is out and I had to see one of his clients. I notice that the last time anyone had any face-to-face contact with him (the client) was 2 months ago. He needs to be seen once a week  I mentioned it to my supervisor and she told me that this is a big no-no (I really wasn't aware before that, but I had gotten the feeling that something wasn't right).
I am hoping that there is more info that I am just not aware of... I am going to need to speak with my co-worker's supervisor on Monday and I am not looking forward to it. This is a guy I would consider a friend and I know all I can do is tell the truth but this sucks

that is a tough situation. can you speak with him before his supervisor does, just to prepare him and to let him know you didn't mean to get him in trouble, but that it came out based on the case? or would that be a no-no?

that stinks...hopefully your friend won't be mad..it's not like you are intentionally bringing it up...he should've been following procedure! good luck!!

I can understand where you are coming from. People at work I am friendly with.....I suspect they do similar things. With one of them I am almost 100% sure though my supervisor is onto them.
