He was in the train station in Seaford. He was on the phone with his wife. The phone went dead. He fell down the whole flight of stairs. He has bleeding on the brain. on both sides. No broken bones thank god. He is ok for now they said things look good. he was pulling things off of him. so they took the tube out to help him breath and said he had to go to the bathroom. so things are good like that so far. He is NY Firefighter so they are helping with getting my Aunt there to be with him. They have him sedated to relax him because he is not letting himself relax. PLEASE say a prayer for my baby cuz. Please. I will hopefully be able to get there tomorrow to be at his side.
it broke my heart. He is responsive but not all there. very irritated and wants to go home. he ripped out all of the tubes and the pressure monitor in his head. luckily he did no damage. they have him slightly restrained and with a one on one. He also has been having seizures. but the good news is they moved him out of icu. i could do nothing but hold his hand till he calmed down and feel asleep. I said to my self when we left that HE WILL BE my Jae again. Tomorrow the drs. from the same rehab place that Danirella's brother went to in Nj are evaluating him.
the firefighters have been there around the clock and have not left his wife's side for one second. there is always 5 of the there. they have been doing anything and everything for them. from driving my aunt and uncle to and from the hospital to getting Jae's boat out of the water and winterized. And so much more. I want to send out a HUGE thank you to them for helping our family.
i am going to try and get there one more time before they take him to Jersey. Please keep him in your prayers he has a very long road ahead of him.
I just got a call that yesterday the firefighters had my cousin up and walking with a walker. took him to the shower and his wife jumped in with him cloths on and all!! LOL But he did it!!! Kessler(sp) said he needs a little more healing before they can think about taking him. But odds are in the right direction. Today he was so tired so he was not responding all that well. One day at a time. RIGHT?
as for who saw my cousin yesterday OMG again THANK YOU TO DANIRELLA AND HER FAMILY. Her parents gave my cousin and his wife and other family there the hope they needed at that right time. they went to see them yesterday and held their hands and made it feel like they where not the only ones in the world who went through something like this. a HUGE THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
