Test results came back...
...and they have no idea why I am bleeding. It's been over three months. It started 2/24 and with the exception of 10 days-it's been consecutive.
My Endometrial stripe is 7mm. Is that good or bad?
I do not ovulate-obviously I must have ATLEAST once because I have a healthy 1 year old-but the blood and sonos and biopsy show that I don't. And it's not hyerplasia or PCOS-he thought I had both.
My Estridol is at 36/dl, my progesterone at 23/dl. (Not dpo...) I am 30 years old, my numbers are borderline postmenopausal.
Dr. Cohen came right out and asked me if I wanted more children. He said if I never planned on having anymore would I opt for a hyesterectomy. I am 30 years old. Who knows what I want in 5 years-if I want more or not. He said that he is just giving that to me as one of my choices. It's not just MY choice. It's also my husbands choice.
He said he could start me on Lupron therapy. Get me in to menopause and pull me out to see if he restarts my system.
He could give me the Clomid/ Estridol/ Progesterone cycle and and keep me on that a while to see if it kickstarted my ovulation.
He said I could stay on the pill and just continue the bleeding but definately not get pregnant.
I could stop the pill, continue the bleeding and have the chance of another miracle-blessing from God.
I have to call in the AM to schedule a consultation for teh three of us. These aren't much of "choices".

 OH MY GOODNESS!!! b That certainly is alot to swallow. I think before anything you should get a second opinion.

I have to go to see him on Tuesday.
It remember everyone telling me that he has no bedside manner... I am wondering if this is just how he is???
I am going to see what he says. I discussed with DH the possible options and I think I am goign to go off everything and just deal with the bleeding until they figure out what's wrong. After thinking about the conversation with him, it was kind of ?wrong? for him to start the conversation with the taking it all out option. Keep you posted.

I am so sorry. Those words must have been devistating to here. I do agree with the other girls, definitely get a second opinion. Doctors and tests are not 100% infallable.

My sister used to bleed for MONTHS at a time..and it took her 2 years to find the doctor that told her that she has 2 counteracting blood disorders that were causing it. The lupron used to help her for those few months, but after 2 6- month treatments she could not have anymore (too much risk for her). She has endo and these blood disorders and actually being a vegitarian was hurting her because the soy was making things worse.
Hugs to you!! I would get a 2nd opinion and get a full blood work up from an RE.

Redstar also mentioned that it could have to do with blood disorders....(Editted because I wrote before rereading....problem when you are trying to get on here when you are supposed to be getting ready for work!)
I am going to bring research with me and see what he says. Thank you all!
But now I see why girls had posted that he had no bedside manner. He is so blunt.
