Everyone around me seems to be PG!

I feel like an absolute b*tch, b/c I'm trying to be happy for all of my friends, but I'm having a really tough time, and so is DH. One of my bfs is due in June, and she told me a few weeks ago. We were at a party last night, and out of the 3 married couples we were sitting with, two of the woman were PG. The whole conversation was about pregnancy, baby names, etc. Now, I just read on FB that friends of ours from college are expecting!

I am happy for everyone, but each time I hear about a pregnancy, I keep thinking, "why not me?" I'm not even thinking so much about the m/c anymore, but just more about the time it is taking us to have a baby. We have been married for 5 1/2 years now. We got married before so many of our friends, but now I feel like we fell behind. It's not a race, but I feel like we're in "life-stage limbo". I'm ready to be a mommy!

I totally hear you It's hard not to think "why me" when you are surrounded by it. I don't have much advice, cause I know words don't help, but try to keep thinking that once the day comes where you actually are pg...that these hard times will fade away, and in the scheme of life, and all the time we have with our future children this will be but a distant memory...

I def feel like this a lot! I get so stressed over the timeline. Not that I needed it to happen exactly when i wanted but I never realized this was something i would struggle with. I thought when I started TTC in March i would have a baby in 2009. Then I thought atleast 2010, but now that we are basically in 2010 i realized I only have 3 months left to even have a baby in 2010. Ughhh!!! I panic at the thought of my friends getting pregnant. Not that we aren;t happy but that it def hurts us to see. How could it not be upsetting. When one of us may struggle for a yr or yrs, while another women will get pregnant her first try. After dealing with reocurring miscarriages...I just do not get it. I believe it will happen for me, but it's upsetting that it is my challenge.

It will happen for you!!! Try to stay positive!!! Even if everyone around you has babies or is Pregnant....you will soon be there too. Even if it is a little bit after them....I figure atleast we have friends to learn parenting adivce from or pregnancy advice. Hey, let them make all the mistakes first and then teach us. LOL That way we can look like the Super Parents. HAHAH Just kidding.

I know how you feel. I see so many people I got married before and they are having babies, if they don't already have them. Like you, I feel like I fell behind. Maybe I shouldn't have waited over 3 years and should have tried sooner. It just stinks struggling to get PG and not knowing when and if it is going to happen. It will happen for all of us. I am sorry you are feeling down. Hopefully the new year will bring new miracles and new blessings.

You are definitely not alone. I remember when I found out my best friend from college was pregnant, and we should have been due the same week, of course I was happy for her, but I was so sad for me, kwim? And like Kristin said, I felt like such a biitch for even feeling that way, but you can't really help it. I hope 2010 brings better things for everyone
