Does anyone know of or work for a not for profit on Long Island? I am looking for a job in this sector. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: Not for Profits on Long Island?
There are a lot, if you do a google search for Long Island Not For Profits several lists come up.
Just bear in mind this is a terrible economy for that sector in general and it may be really difficult to make the change any time soon. Due to the severe down swing in development dollars for most NFPs, pretty much everyone I know who were working for NFPs on LI have been laid off or their hours cut back so they don't get benefits, hiring freezes, salary freezes, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion - I actually do have experience working for NFPs so it wouldn't be a change for me.
