Special Ed
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Special Ed. extension to your masters? I have my Masters in Literacy and would like to take a few classes in special ed. and maybe eventually go into early intervention. Is it possible to do this without going through a Grad program again? I hope I'm making sense...thanks!!

Re: Special Ed
Definitely possible.
I got an extension for 5-6 and just took two additional classes. Not sure how many additional sped classes you need you need to take , however, in order to become certified in special ed. The state should have it listed on their certification website or you could call up boces.

Re: Special Ed
Definitely Possible. Adelphi University offers a 12 credit (4 class) extension. It was great. I was able to complete the extension within their 2 summer sessions through the month of June-July.
FM me if you have any further questions. I just completed the extension last May!
Hope this helps!
