HSG - go by myself tomorrow or take DH?
Well I'm having my HSG tomorrow and was wondering what you all think - do I need someone with me? It's going to be very hard for DH to come with me (because of his job) so I'm not sure if I should push the issue with him.
Your thoughts? TIA

He will not be able to go in with you, but if you have someone to drive you home afterwards it would be better. Some people have pain and cramping afterwards.

DH did not come with me, I went alone. I figured I would probably need him for something else during the day at some point, so I didn't want him to "waste" taking time off.

Dh, came with me, but he was more nervous than I was, since they had him 'waiting' and it took forever for the doctor to appear, so he had no idea what was going on. I didn't need anyone to drive me home......You will be ok without him if it's too stressful.
I know all about handling work and ttc.....
I already told everyone on here that I received an unsatisfactory rating,....from my ny dept of ed teaching job...for attendance.... I am allowed 10 sick days and took 12....because of fertility testing...and one day of course i took was my hsg test. Despite the fact I had doctor's notes...they gave me a U....Despite the fact that I have 13 years on the job and 40 days in my sick bank,......they gave me a U.
Therefore, Dh, doesn't have to be there, if he will be stressed at work.

I went alone, had two blocked tubes, and drove myself home. I think you'll be fine.

OK, I agree with everyone too. Although it would be nice if he could come, he can not be with you, and even if you have some pain it wont stop you from being abe to drive. There are other times that him being there will be more helpful.
