remember the stroller drama - (funny)
My friend dave and i went to MOMA and in one of the exhibits they had furniture, textiles, everyday items and design. So they had the "sling stroller" as i call it - the one I remember having as a child.
so this woman next to me with two kids is looking at the exhibit and the kid goes "mommy why is that such a tiny stroller" and mom goes "because mommies didn't have children like you back then who needed a bunch of crap to go along with them." I swear dave and i cried with laughter. Even the security guard was laughing so hard. Image Attachment(s):

Re: remember the stroller drama - (funny)
umbrella stroller - that's what they are called.
My sis had one when my 11 year old nephew was small. It was easier to get in and out of the car and to use when travelling. She had the regular PegPerego stroller for walking around the neighborhood, or if we needed to use the basket underneath. My mom had wanted her to get this : Just like when we were babies. Can you imagine taking that on a subway ?

Hee hee. My mom used this in 1966 !
My sis and I are 17 months apart, so when she was an infant, sis went in the bassinet part and I got to sit on a seat that strapped across the top.
I had a mini version of the pram for my dolls.

Memories! I had a stroller just like this when I was a toddler in the 70's!
We used to use it for our dolls too!
