Wow! That's crazy, I didn't think it had that big of an impact at 30.

It cant be as bad as they are describing. I feel like nowadays more and more women are having babies in there 30s; even late 30s. What are we suppose to do, have kids right out of HS? LOL People dont even get married as young as they used too. I was 23 when I married and so many people thought I was "so young."
Dont let this article add to your stress

Wow, that is pretty crazy!! Thanks for sharing! Like Lisa said though, so many women are getting pregnant later in life, I don't think it's as dire as they make it sound.

ITA! PLENTY of women have healthy babies in their late 30s and early 40s. Women shouldn't feel pressured to have a baby before they're emotionally and financially ready.

They were talking about this on the View this morning during "hot topics." Sherri was hysterical talking about freezing her eggs because she doesn't have any sperm to work with!

Re: Article I read on AOL- Biological Clock Ticking
They come out with "studies" like this every few years like clockwork... and it always infuriates me. As if women are not under enough stress as it is. The fact is, some people have trouble TTC in their 20s, others get pregnant at the drop of a hat at age 38. Yes age plays a role in fertility (which the media LOVES to remind us of), but everyone is different. Unfortunately, you won't know which category you fall into until you start TTC.
When having conversations about this very topic, I encourage people to try to remember that bringing children into the world is a serious commitment, and it's best to do so only when you are ready... children benefit from being raised in a stable home with parents who dearly want them. I imagine that's much better than being raised with parents who may resent their children for "robbing" them of opportunities that they didn't pursue in their 20s because they felt rushed to have kids.... these "studies" do more harm than good IMHO. Try not to let them bother you.
