Mother's Day
My DH took me out to lunch yesterday for Mother's Day (we are taking my mom Next wkend for lunch)---and I think next year I'll be empty handed as well, as it looks it is taking soo long for china referrals and we have not even r'cvd our approval from the fingerprints --basically, we even haven't gotten LID in China, unless things pick up, we won't be in China yet next May...

What is your agency saying about timeline?
Have you visited some of the larger china adoption chat sites? Maybe see if everyone is experiencing a real slow down.
The INS fingerprints took 6 weeks for us to get approval.

I'm Sorry Sandra! The wait can certainly get frustrating. I was fingerprinted before you and haven't gotten my approval yet either. I'll be sure to let you know when I do. I sure hope you have a referral earlier than next May.

don't get too discouraged. China seems to go back and forth on their time lines. When we started, the wait was about a year from LID to referral, but they sped up for some reason and we were LID 1/7, had referral 7/29, amd traveled 9/10. You never know with them what is going on and what will happen.
