Trying Again
Did everyone wait as long as their dr told them to?

mine told me I could start right away since I was so early on and had a complete miscarriage and that's what we're doing.
I've heard that you should wait one cycle medically speaking so that the drs have a start date (AF date) once you get ur BFP. The reason they suggest waiting 3 cycles is so you can be emotionally ready and for AF to beocme regular again.
How long were u told to wait?
ETA: I had my follow up appt once I stopped bleeding and once she said everything was fine and HCG was back at 0 we started trying again, she said there is no need to wait.

He said 2 cycles but since it was natural to wait one. When I had my followup everything had passed on its own.

so we both had complete miscarriages, my dr. told me I didnt have to wait bc I passed everything. I'm not using anykind of BC now so if it happens it happens but if AF shows she should be here in 2 weeks or so and then i'm gonna really keep track of Oing.

Mine wasn't natural. I had a missed miscarriage and needed a d and c. The doctor told us to wait one cycle.
Luckily I got my period almost a month after the d and c (a month and 2 days to be exact) and so we started trying then.
I do hear a lot of people being told to wait 2 cycles.

My doctor told me to wait at least two cycles- I waited 6 cycles before we started trying again- I just wasn't ready emotionally or physically

I know, they definitely don't make it any easier to figure things out! My doctor said to wait 2 cycles, so I did.

I was told to wait 3 cycles. He said that the chance of another MC is higher if you get pg after your first cycle than if you wait. And from his experience, 3 cycles works best...who knows if it's true. I'm only waiting b/c my DH is out of work and I'm a SAHM...soooo...once he gets a new job we'll try again. (I had my MC in September 09)

My Dr Said to skip one month, then try.
It's best to make sure your body is fully healed.
This is what I found online about it.......
Medically speaking, your body needs time to recover from the miscarriage. It takes this much time for your uterus to recover and for your endometrial lining to become strong and healthy again, and ready for the task of carrying a baby to term. If your body isn’t ready for another pregnancy, you run the risk in repeating the miscarriage. Two to three months is typically enough for your body to recover.

my doc told me 2 cycles...which the second one wrapped up already..im actually pretty fertile this week so we are trying now...
last month we didnt BD but we were intimate..not thinking of conceiving just backed up!
