Re: which do you think would be better?

I've been to both when I was younger with my family. (We loved VT.) But it depends on for how long, and what your looking to get out of the vacation.

Niagra Falls is nice, but good for like a weekend. There is only so much of the falls you can look at Chat Icon Plus the NY side is skeevy. The Canada side is much nicer but filled with overpriced tourist traps. We did the Maid of the Mist and the under the falls tour which was SO cool. I'd pair this trip with going to Toronto or something.

VT is so nice and relaxing. There are the factories to see, lots of outlets, We love nature so we went hiking alot. We stayed near a ski resort so we went biking and down an alpine slide. It's just more low key.

They also have all sorts of berry picking and things like that in Vermont. When would you be going? In September they have apple picking.

I know it may be a little bit more of a drive, but there out outlets in NH - North Conway. I'm a skier, so I usually reserve trips up north for the winter time.

I say Niagara. You can go to the Canadian side.
