should i call?

hi all. i made up this name because hubby doesn't like me chatting about our misfortune. i'm writing because i'm scared that i might be miscarrying again.


i miscarried in september. thought all was well. went for the sono at 8 weeks and the tech said i was only 6.5 but just might have miscalculated. didn't think anything of it. went to see doc next week and baby was still at 6.5. got a d and c the day after because the thought of waiting for it to happen naturally was just not for me.

i'm pregnant again :) took the test yesterday. would make me 3.5 weeks i guess. at least i hope its still viable. here's my problem. this pregnancy i didn't really feel the fluttering i felt with the previous one. my boobs are slightly sore this week but not as sore as last week and i'm not hungry tired or anything. i just don't feel like the baby is progressing. i know its sooo early still but i'm totally crazy with worry that i'm going to have to go through that pain again. it just doesn't feel like i'm pregnant this time. with the last pregnancy, i had gained so much weight in such a short time because i was famished and craving everything all within a few days of becoming pregnant.

do i call the doctor and see if he could draw blood or do i just make my sono appointment and just relax a little?????

If it would make you feel better than you should totally call the doctor! He has to understand why you are scared! Each pregnancy is different so try to stay positive!

i agree... if you think gettin the blood work and seeing a docotr early will help than do it! But please remeber every pregnancy is dif! Things that you felt the last time dont always happen everytime... and maybe its jus still too early to start having symptoms... a lot of times they dont start till 6 weeks or after! xox good luck

I agree with the other girls...definitely call the doctor and see if they will do blood work so you can relax. However, every pregnancy is definitely different, so try not to stress too much about the differences between last time and this time
