DH gets calls..phone interviews..but nothing more..

Maybe he needs to get counseled on interviews and phone interviews.

something will work out. it'll just take time. i've only had two interviews in the past two months, so it sounds like he's doing pretty well considering the market. it took a friend of mine a full six months to find a job, so hang in there.

Getting help with interviewing skills isn't a bad idea for anyone. Do you have any idea if he is generally a good interview or if his interview skills could use work?

I think we could all use some skills..

he had an oppy at a job as a consultant at my firm but the pay was extremely low and the benes sucked.

The job was actually too junior for him and frankly if he were to take it, he would still be looking. Kind of a funky situation since I was the referral for the job.
