Animal Planet Show
Does anyone watch the show on Animal plant where the animal cops go and rescue dogs and cats that are injured or being abused?? Everytime I watch this show, i cry!!  I just dont understand how ANYONE can hurt an animal.
Last night, there was an 80 year old woman that had this dog that had so much matted fur on him it was horrible. They brought the dog to a local animal hospital, had to sedate him, then it took 2 hours to have him clean!! OMG.....what a differnec in the dog!! He seemed much happier...Im sure he did...without that horrible fur on him!!

DH will not let me watch this show. I go ballistic. Esp. now I am shot up with hormones, I can't. I get way too upset and am a basket case the rest of the evening. He won't even let me look at the pet adoption page in Newsday....

Animal Precinct is a great show.
I have called the aspca to report possible abuse and they always look into it.
If you live in the city and suspect an animal is being abused, please call the ASPCA@
212 876-7700.
For those who wish to report what they think is abuse in Nassau or SUffolk county, please contact the suffolk spca.

I agree 100%. Even if it's something minor, call them. They WILL investigate. Sometimes there is more than meets the eye. You may see a skinny dog in front, but there's a dead starved dog in the back. Also, since the SPCA is a non-profit organization, please consider donating. They need us to keep going....
I love Animal Cops. Even though I cry when I watch it, I am just happy there are people out there doing good for the animals....I love those guys! The special agents in NY have such a rewarding job, IMO.

Its just sad wut some ppl do with there animals i just so mad they need to go threw the same torture they put them animals threw!!
