Past my due date also .... Now I'm scared!

After reading some of the posts in the thread started by Baby Avacado now I'm scared about being induced on Friday. I'm almost one week late, two weeks if you go by my original due date.

The doctor has told me that current practice is not to let women go very long past their due date because of the possibility of the baby having their first BM in the womb and this can be harmful to the baby.

I go tomorrow morning for an appointment to see what the doctor recommends but I just don't think this baby is going to come out any time soon without a little help.

I delivered 11 days past my due date. My doctor also said that the baby had his first bowel movement in utero but everything turned out fine. I have one big healthy baby!

I was scheduled for induction when I was a week late, but went into labor the day before. My son had a bowel movement in utero and he was fine. While I was in labor they flushed my uterus with saline so he didn't breathe it in. He had no problems breathing when he came out.

I didn't want to be induced and planned to tell the Dr I didn't want it the morning I went into labor. Maybe all the talks I had with Nate while he was inside made him decide to come out.

Don't worry everything will be fine. Lots of labor vibes.
