No meeting for IEP?
When we had our CPSE meeting early this year, the chairman told us that we would meet in June to confirm everything from that meeting and after we pick our school (the IEP meeting).
I talked to the district (not the chairman) and apparently the lady is telling me that I don't need an IEP meeting. I just need to tell her what school we want.
So we have been back and forth on phone calls. We had some "open items" to be discussed at the June meeting and I want to make sure they are addressed. Like having speech in uninterupted services.
Did anyone NOT have a actual IEP meeting?
I am assuming I have to sign paperwork.
I talked to one of my therapist and she never heard of this.

Re: No meeting for IEP?
they can just send you the paper to sign with the iep nad you mail it or fax it back once you sign it. they just want to add the schools name to the iep and be done with it but if you have more issues then tell them you want another meeting and will sign the paper work then. they have to give you a meeting if you want one.

Yes, that is typical, although not technically proper of the district. If you have issues/concerns, you should call them back and tell them you want a CPSE.
