Does your SO read?
Is your spouse/significant other an avid reader as well?
DH says he likes to read but I don't think I've ever seen him read anything other than the newspaper.

Re: Does your SO read?
My DH does not. I think that he has read 3 books (maybe) in the time that we have been together.

Re: Does your SO read?
Mine does, but I've learned he enjoys buying books more than reading them. Anyway, he likes non fiction about sports or politics, and bios of sports players mainly.

Re: Does your SO read?
He does, but he is very picky about the kind of books he likes to read, and he doesn't have a lot of time to read, so he sticks mostly to the newspaper and magazines.

DW and I both love to read, and 7yo DS is following in our footsteps. 4yo DD loves books, but can't read yet, but I'm sure she will.

Re: Does your SO read?
Yes. Actually I miss the days when we used to go to Starbucks with our books. We have similar tastes so we share a lot. Actually we started dating just as the 5th Harry Potter book came out and we spent an awful lot of time talking about that.

Books, not really. He sometimes does if it is a topic that intrigues him. He is more of a newspaper, magazine, internet blog kinda guy.

I wouldn't say he's an avid reader at ALL. But he does read often. Usually bodybuilding books and he is currently reading The Bible.

He likes to read in the winter when his work schedule allows. He reads mostly non fiction concerning: the mafia, gangs, conspiracy theories, WWII, American History or anything to do with the Rangers LOL

Re: Does your SO read?
He doesn't read books. He'll read the newspaper, photography magazines, or his two Islanders biographies, but never a book for pleasure. He's a slow reader, and I'm very fast, so that makes a difference too.

Re: Does your SO read?
We were both English majors in college and both work in related fields. He definitely reads more for pleasure than I get to now (because I'm usually reading for the classes I'm teaching.) He actually turned to me the other night and said "you should try reading for pleasure... you'd like it"... as I picked up The Great Gatsby for the sixth year in a row.

Re: Does your SO read?
Oh Good Lord, YES. ( actually I think he's reading right now.) Sometimes he goes to 3 different libraries in 1 week. he usually has 2-3 books going at a time.
He participates in message boards about books, and does challenges, to read 50 books in a year, and to read across the Dewey Decimal categories.
