What could this have been???
Yesterday, I was in the mall, and started to get a weird vision thing in my left eye...it was as if there was a strobe light in the outer corner, and it was making me dizzy. It was not in the other eye at all...it lasted fr a good hour, and then I had a painful headache for the rest of the day and into the night. I woke up this am, and things were ok.
I don't even know what kind of dr to go to for this, never happened before...

Re: What could this have been???
Sounds totally like a classic migraine with visual aura's preceding it. This is exactly what happens to me. Usually I get little spotty things in my peripheral vision (strobe ligh-t esque) with no headache, visual disturbance goes away and then I get a massive headache that follows (if I don't take migraine meds) . I would see a neurologist to get a diagnosis (ofthen they do an MRI or cat scan to rule out anything else) and then give you some meds if needed for the future. Feel better they can be scary at first! Got my 1st one at age 12 and usually will not get them unless I go on birth control of any sort. Usually ob's will recommend not going on hormonal B.C. or coming off if you get migraines along with visual auras. HTH!

Wow...i didn't expect such a fast response! Thank you! It was defintely scary...I was with my 5 month old, and I thought I was going to pass out. I just went back on BC, maynbe that is a side effect?
Thanks again for your help!
