Club Penguin

If your child plays Club Penguin online, did you pay for the subscription for them to be an "official" member?

I ask because Nicholas has been BEGGING us to pay for the membership. According to him, it enables you to play all the games including slaying the dragon , furnishing your penguin's house, and buying puffles. Yay.

Thing is, you can already do SOME stuff on the website, for free. Apparently, this isn't enough.

I told Nick I would think about it. And he's on a 2 week probation where I will be monitoring all actions to deem whether or not he is in the running for said membership. (It's called leverage... ) Really, he's such a good kid...I just like "leverage".

So, my question is....does your child have a paid membership to Club Penguin?

And...do I give in?

Jordan got Club Penguin gift cards for Easter and Christmas and her Bday and has been using them. She has also used her allowance money as well. I refuse to pay for it.
