Just Curious
Hi Girls,
I am not pregnant. But, I am curious to know.....how many of you have twins run in your family?
My Great Grandmother had two sets of twins.
What are my chances? Unsure since I need further diagnosis to see if my tubes are blocked.

There are about 3 or 4 sets of twins on my grandmother's (mother's mother's) side.

ETA: their could be some in the distant family. But, back in the day in Ireland you never discussed pragnancy. (strange I know) But, for the people who are still alive I am being told that this was the first.

Yeah, my mom's side of the family is so secretive. Too Strange!
Did any of you have a sense that you were going to have multiple births?
I have a sense.....but, if I have to go IVF....unsure if it would be the procedure itself or the fact that twins run in the family.
Thanks for the responses. I was just curious!

No one on either side of the family, but identicals do not run in families....fraternals do. If someone on your side of the family (not DH"s) has had twins you have a better chance of having twins then the average person....and if you are doing fertility treatments you do too. Good luck!
