Re: Sangia
1 Bottle of red wine (I like to use merlot) 1 cup of Orange Juice (to start) 1 cup of white rum 1/2 cup of club soda (to start) 1 orange 1 lemon 1 lime 1 apple (You can really use any fruit you want, peaches and pears are great in this too) 1/2 cup of superfine sugar
Have the wine, rum, and oj well chilled.
Slice up the fruit and place in a pitcher with the rum and sugar. Place in the fridge covered with plastic wrap for 2 hours to allow the flavors to develop.
When ready, lightly crush the fruit with a wooden spoon, and add the wine and oj. Stir, and add the 1/2 cup of club soda. Taste it. If it's too strong, dilute with more club soda until you're happy. If it's not sweet enough, add more sugar or orange juice
