Of all the days
Today is one year since my m/c, and we are still TTC. I was upset when I realized it last night, but was okay at work today.
I had a meeting with the parents of one of my kids (I am a psychologist at a special ed preschool), and right after we sit down, she tells me that she had an abortion a couple of days ago. She caught me totally off guard, and I'm sure that I had my emotions written all over my face for a moment or two, but I kept myself together and went on with the session.
SERIOUSLY, though, of ALL the days?!!!

I'm sorry! I know the next few days will prob be tough. And you certainly didn't need to know that about your student's mother.
