Another ? about re...
I want to make an appointment with an re for August. I cant before before mid August and by that time I will have at least my sono and blood work to take with me. Does it usually take a long time to get an appointment? Should I call now and request an appt. for mid August or just wait till then? Thanks so much!

call now and get an appointment. The first evening appt they could offer me was the end of August. If you need a day time appt then I'm sure it wont be a problem, but call now and then get all your medical records, xrays, etc together - and in the meantime the RE will mail you a package of forms to fill out and directions on how to get there - well, at least thats what RSofNY did for me.
ETA: I saw Dr. Mary Bray yesterday at RSofNY Mineola's office - we liked her a lot.
