Toy Story 3
I cannot believe how expensive tickets are.
I went to buy tickets for Friday (that's my son's 3rd birthday and he is a huge toy story fan) $18 per adult, $15.25 child.
Total $138 for 6 adults, 2 children

Re: Toy Story 3
Unreal isn't it?
I assume you are seeing it in the Imax 3-D?
I told my brother I would take my niece & nephew to see it and I'm afraid of the sticker shock.

Re: Toy Story 3
That's why I'm hoping to see it NOT in 3D. That would annoy me anyway! Too long to sit with the glasses on.

Re: Toy Story 3
Yes we are going to IMAX 3d. My kids got a kick out of 3d movies in the past. I just wasn't prepared to pay that much for the movies.
I didn't even buy popcorn and drinks yet!

I was just going to post this--- I had no clue abou thtis and then met my friends with Jacob to see Shrek last week for this -- When I went to pay, The person said $12 please... I was shocked.
I should have known better since my friend I went with has 4 children.. she says this is the only way they can go to the movies...

Re: Toy Story 3
That's great to know....the only reason we are going Friday is because its his birthday. If it was just a movie coming out I would have definitely waited for cheaper tickets.

Re: Toy Story 3
Yeah, when saw How to train a dinosaur in 3D we spent $125 on tickets, parking (we live in Chicago), popcorn and then lunch.
I told DH that when we go this weekend we need to go to the suburbs and feed them before we go to movies...right there that's 60-70 bucks.

Re: Toy Story 3
It has really gotten insane!! That is why, even though I would really enjoy the IMAX, I am taking them to see the "regular" showing. 3 kids at regular price are enough and I bet my son wouldn't wear the glasses the whole time either - lol

Re: Toy Story 3
I can't do the 3D's if I am bringing all 3. But my kids haven't complained about 2D so I'm happy there. Seaford Cinemas generally offers the 2D version alternatives even when they have the 3D and tix are $6.75 before 6pm
