Employment Agency for Teachers?
So I found this company that is having a teacher fair on Wed. They are an employment agency that staffs subs, and teachers in Charter/City Schools.
Has anyone heard of such a thing?
I would have to go to Brooklyn to meet with a "recruiter" with my resume and certification. Then they would help place me.

Re: Employment Agency for Teachers?
To be honest, I'd be surprised to find out that schools actually use recruiters. The city will be doing very minimal hiring and has contracts with the Fellows and Teach for America (which is BS) so many new hires will come from there. Charters? Maybe, but with there being so many people looking for jobs, I'd guess that the teachers are coming to them.
Whatever you do, do not pay them any money. Good luck.
