Today is

the 2-year anniversary of my Grandpa's passing.

I just read last year's thread and somehow I feel differently this year. Not really better, just different. I can't believe it's been another whole year already. Things still aren't the same, I know it never will be; I remember saying that to Kevin on the way home from the hospital that night. I'm waiting for 7:30 to come, that's when the doctor came in to tell us she was sorry, that's when the breakdown will come.

As much as I miss Grandpa I can't stop thinking about Grandma. How do you live your life after being with someone for 60+ years? She's lonely, I'm going to call her.

I'm sure your grandpa knows just how much you miss him and love him. I hope that you get through the rest of today as best as can be expected.

I'm so sorry. It feels like just yesterday I know. I hate when this time of the year rolls around I hope your Grandma is doing well.
