PROMPT therapy in Nassau County
I notice some of you have posted about PROMPT therapy and that it's made a difference for your child. Does anyone know of a place that offers this type of therapy in Nassau County? Is it typically covered through your insurance?

My ds goes to Donna Lederman (www.donnalederman.com). She has two offices, one in East Williston and the other in Commack. There are more people in her practice as well.
She doesn't take insurance and I only get reimbursed a tiny bit back from GHI.

My son goes to that practice, but in the Commack office.
I get reimburtsed back 80% from my insurance. I have Empire.

My DS is starting next week. We are hoping it is going to be the thing that works for him as he has no other problems except his articulation is very very low. So I can't vouch for her yet but we are going to be using Elizabeth Bowen in Bellmore. My school district is covering it (he's 4). My former SLP recommended the PROMPT as did the SD so we are really optimistic.
