cats and hair ties
Does anyone else have a cat obsessed with hair ties lol? I have mine in a container in the bathroom closet, whenever I open the closet she darts in there and steals as many as she can and runs off with them. She plays with them on her own but loves it when you play fetch with her with one of them. I'll throw it far or up in the air and she catches it in her mouth and comes running back to me with it and drops it in front of me. If I don't throw it right away she keeps looking down at it or kicks it toward me. She's really like a dog lol.
The weird part... one of my moms cats does the same thing! I have never heard of this before.

OMG!!! YES!!!! My cat LOVES them!!! I don't know how the heck he gets them but I find them all over my house. DS likes to play with my UGGs and he found 2 of them in there just the other day! The cat must have been playing with them in the closet and they somehow got in there!

YES! one of my cats loves hair ties. She even loves to play a game where she wrestles it out of my hair while my hair is in a pony tail or bun. It's funny when she does it except when she does it at 5am.
Anytime I need a hair tie I look on the floor because there is bound to be one there.

Absolutely! She figured out how to open the case and take them! I had a container of about 30, I woke up the next morning and there were 2! I have yet to find them...

omg my cat loves hair ties & anything that looks like a hair tie  he loves rubberbands, twistie ties and those elastic headbands lol
he is also super weird and when he finds them, he brings them over to his food dish and just leaves them there lol

My cat loves them. I go through so many because he's always stealing them. I find them broken EVERYWHERE

OMG YES. I thought it was only my crazy cat. He steals them from me all the time and it drives me insane. The other day I fell asleep on the couch and i woke up to my cat on my head trying to chew the hair tie off of my head (my hair was up). I swear he LIVES for hair ties. Its insane.

Yup, but only if it is out of my hair. That and rubber bands. Be very careful! If kitty eats one, it can wreak havoc on their intestines. Make sure they are as out of reach as possible.

My cat Tostito LOVES them!
When I take a shower and take my hair clip out and leave it on the counter. I hear him while I am in the shower....he sneaks in and grabs it off the counter and I hear him jump off the counter and tear @$$ down the hallway 
He likes to collect them and throw them in his water dish. He doesnt eat them
