what are you doing to fill your time when you're not actively job searching?

when DH was unemployed he spent alot of time reading, watching tv, playing with the dog and playing/practicing (?) magic (he's a magician) that was about it, not too much get up and go. I think it's different with woman, if I was home all day for a while I would go crazy to have interaction with ppl and start looking for jobs as anything, cashier/babysitter/dog walker but I get bored easily

I'm taking care of DD. I was laid off 19 months ago and only had a few interviews. I've been apply to all kinds of jobs including retail and I'm going stir crazy. While I was working, I never intended on being a SAHM because I knew I was going to feel like this. Though I have enjoyed being at home with DD, something has got to give.
