1 dog is sick, other one is not??? UPDATE

Does anyone know what could be wrong with one dog, when the other one is not sick at all?

He's not even 9 yrs old yet. He started not feeling well Tuesday night. He is still eating a bit, his stool is fine and no vomiting. His nose is still wet, but this morning his whole body under his fur felt hot? He just lays around like he usually does, but in strange places and has been cranky a bit. Not acting like himself. He pretty much hides from everyone.

Why would he be sick and not the other dog?

We have 2 Siberian Huskies.

His bloodwork came back with extremely low almost non existant red and white blood cell counts??? They want us to pay more money for some kind of tick bite test and then if that comes back negative then they have no idea what it is and will have to send us out for a referral to a specialist. We can't afford a specialist??? We can't afford the regular vet most of the time forget about a specialist for more tests, etc. I don't know what to do??? We love him VERY much, but don't have unlimited funds you know???

it colud be SOOOOO many things. take him into the vet. they will take his temp and run some blood work.
I wouldn't wait, certain things go quick and need treatment fast to be effective.
