Yes, it was really nice but wwaaaayy crowded and scary. People were running across the roadway, cutting off cars. I was certain someone was going to get hit, etc. But it was very nice indeed.

We drove to Robert Moses onto the beach and watched them from there. It was actually really cool cuz you could see all the fireworks across the island.

My husband and I went to Jones Beach on Sat night and there were fireworks somewhere near there that we could see. I knwo they closed off Loop parkway (we were trying to get to Long Beach). There were so many people on the boardwalk....it was very nice!!

We took a boat out of Captree that went to Jones Beach to see the fireworks. It was really great. I though we would be a little closer, but it was fun. The boats all heading back afterwards was quite a sight too !!! We got back one of the first 3 boats, so no traffic getting out of the beach nor the rest of the way home!! And we watched all the fireworks throughout the Island -- we could see tons on the horizon!!
I would do it again, it was great.

I love the Jones Beach fireworks show, it alomost makes the traffic getting out of there worth while.
