Scrapbooking for Beginners
I have been stamping cards and enjoying it. How do you start scrapbooking from there? Any suggestions for a beginner?

I just made a scrapbook from my wedding
some one got me the book as a gift I just cut up some pics and addes some stickers and stuff

I don't stamp, but I started scrapping by taking a class. I went to one offered at a local HS but a lot of the scrapbooking stores have beginner/intro classes. And I think Michaels & ACMoores does too.
To get started is easy (although it can be a bit intimidating)...all you need is some acid free cardstock & patterned paper, a metal ruler, exacto knife, sharp pointy scissors (you have much more control with smaller ones), acid free adhesive like a glue stick or something.
You have to decide on the size you are going to work on 12x12 is most popular, but smaller formats (8x8, 9x9, 8.5x11) are quick and easy.
Group your photos in a pleasing manner and adhere. Add some journaling about the event, a title, some embellishments and you're all set. I have seen the most beautiful embellishments made with stamps -- even background paper!

I took a beginner scrap book class at Michael's ;ast year. It was fun. She gave us great ideas. I think I paid only $15 for it.

I never took a clas just kind of laid stuff out until it looked how I wanted it. Then I glued it all after. They have such cute stickers and embellishments now. I also like the idea of finding quotes online and printing them in a nice font, cutting and then gluing them. A big help was using the die cut glue pages(not sure what they are really called) It is a pad with glue on each page basically.
